Cable Ladders – Full Description
Cable ladders are robust, racked support systems used to carry heavy-duty electrical and communication cables across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure environments. They are especially suited for installations with high cable volume, long cable runs, and demanding mechanical strength requirements.
Unlike cable trays, cable ladders feature two side rails connected by transverse rungs, resembling a ladder. This design provides maximum ventilation and load-bearing capacity, making them ideal for power cables that emit heat and require spacing.
Construction and Features
Cable ladders are fabricated from steel (GI, HDG), stainless steel (SS304/SS316), or aluminum, with material selection based on environmental exposure. The ladder rungs are spaced at 250 mm or 300 mm intervals and allow for easy cable tying or clamping. The side rails provide structural rigidity and support for long horizontal spans.
